hello friends and relations

Well, we're all in the same boat I suppose, confined to barracks all over the world. Its really strange not being able to pop to Welshpool, visit a neighbour, or meet a friend to go for a walk; but cars are banned unless for a very good reason, so its Shanks's Pony for me. We're allowed out to go for exercise, and the lanes round here are beautiful with spring flowers at the moment, so, apart from the hills, its a pleasure to go for a walk, and you can stop thinking about CV for a while too. Our neighbours have banned together to offer help where its needed, its actually a great atmosphere. And although I cant get to see dad that often, I ring him every day and he's coping fine, of course! So we're all ok so far, and I hope you are too. Alex and I send our love x
