Staying at a campground in Caerfia, St David, Wales. We are up high on a cliff looking out onto Ramsey Island. The kids have disappeared into the campground. Blake looks like a little gypsy child, Anton and Mason are fighting up a storm over a cricket game. We just pretend they’re not ours. Actually on the ferry today an American lady who sat opposite us for the whole trip came up to me when were we leaving and tapped me on the shoulder. She then proceeded to tell me that we have lovely polite boys. I must of pulled a face because she said - no truly they are. Then she told her group as we walked down to Hugo - those boys are so polite and well behaved. Wonders will never cease.
Went to a little bay called Abereiddy. The roads there were extremely narrow - I had my foot on the brakes the entire time. Gareth wasn’t too impressed - “Brakes Gareth”. The water was freezing but in we went. Blake sat on the beach with my sunglasses looking cool. Kayaks everywhere and we were the only people in the water without full length wet suits

ice cream on. It was a pretty bay though with cliffs on either side. Car park packed and the ice cream truck was doing lots of business.
This camp ground is great. Free hot showers, laundry and views. We’ve been talking about the campgrounds, New Zealand must be such a delight. That Top 10 in Taupo would be beyond 5 star here. When we go into 4 star we expect luxury - you get warm showers and that’s it. No pool, no TV room, no games room - nothing really. This is the 1st camp ground with a spectacular view. I’m looking forward to the next few days though because we going to stay here.

We woke to blue sky and a breeze, I (Gareth) went for a run on the coastal walkway it was amazing with 50 to 100 meter drop offs to the sea. The coast line is rugged with plenty of bays containing lobster pots and rocks.
After brekkie we walked into town to buy some fishing gear and look in the gallery’s, wow what a cool place. They caught Sherie's and they boys eyes and we could have spent a fortune in this little town.
Mason brought Mum a ring as payment for all the help with the baking, it had three bands joined together and symbolises the three boys.
We visited the local cafe that made ice cream daily, they even had waffle cones dipped in chocolate, hundreds and thousands or just plain. I even brought one because they had sugar free Raspberry soya ice cream.....Stop laughing or thinking uk it was the best and all the others agreed it was the best ice cream they had ever had. Blake actually said that this ice cream goes on his food list as number one.
As we walked towards the camp ground the boys decided they wanted to buy a skimming board for 11 pounds from the local shop that sells just about everything, we did see another board at the surf shop for 30.
When all got home for lunch and the wind was gusting so much I decided to bring the awning in because it was flapping that hard I thought it might take off.
The rain followed and we had to spend some time playing cards and reading before heading down to the rocks for a spot of fishing.

Woke up to a storm - wind and lots of rain. Decided to leave and head for an artists gallery - he's worth a look 'Chris Neale' works in pastel and draws mostly Welsh villages around Pembroke. Mason wanted to buy so much but he's going to order some on line.
Because of the rain we decided to head for a water park. After crashing Hugo's bumper into a bank we got to the water park. Wandered in very excited - it looked great. Went to pay - 60 pounds please. Gareth said "I beg your pardon". No it was 60 pounds. Huddled up and decided not to go. That was to much of our day budget. Got back in Hugo and looked through the book that had the local council swimming pools in them. Decided to turn around and head for Tenby. Nearly had a head on crash in a little village, not our fault. Amy the sat nav stopped working and the rain kept falling from the sky. Oh yeah the boys were really excited because they were going to have surfing lessons this morning at Newgale but because of the rain the wind they didn't. Today was getting progressively worse by the minute. Went through another booklet I had and found a camping ground near Tenby with a pool, WI Fi, laundry and hot showers. Headed straight for it. Thank godness!!!
We're now in Manorbrier county park. The boys have had a swim, I've showered and now we're in the pub using free WI Fi. Tomorrow will be better. The sun will shine and we will have firm ground and white sandy beaches.
Oh yeah - Blake doing his diary drew a picture of me running with Paddy's dog Fudge. He asked me what colour I wanted my hair - he said "don't worry mummy I'll make that shiny colour". I thought that sounded nice until I looked - his shiny colour is non other than grey. All over the top of my head I'm shiny colour and down by my ears he drew mousy brown. I love my son.
