We stayed late at the breakfast table, talking politics. Then we drove to the slate mines, where we had an hour or so queue for the tour. We took the train down one level. It was cold. Our tour was guided by an omnipresent voice from Beyond. The lighting was great.

After that, we made one stop for lunch. We bought some fruit, rolls, and slippers for Mum and Ann.

We drove and drove for quite some time before we reached Fishguard and Saddlepoint. Our hostess recommended a place to eat and gave us directions to the water. First, we walked to the base of the cliffs and stuck our hands in the Irish Sea. Then, we found the tea house and had a delicious meal.

We returned to the House for a bit. That evening, we took another walk along the "beach" until 22.00h or so. Then to bed early.
