You know you are in Scotland when....

- from the plane you can feel you are going done, but the only thing you can see through the window are clouds, until.....you touch ground. Welcome to Scotland.
- in the train, the girl in front of you (early 20's, wearing a cocktail dress and lots of make-up) pick up the phone and says "I'm completely smashed, we have been drinking since 10am and I am now on the train to Dundee.....cocktails and posh Champagne". All that in a very Scottish accent. Priceless.
- the train get stuck in a station for 20min because 'someone behavior required police action'. Oh dear!
- alighting from the train a freezing breeze welcome you to a dark, wet and empty train station, no taxi, next bus in 25min.


Tu sais que tu es bien arrivé en Ecosse quand.....

- depuis l'avion tu peux sentir que le pilote a amorcé la descente mais tout ce que tu peux voir à travers le hublot sont des nuages, jusqu'au moment où.....l'avion touche le sol. Bienvenus en Ecosse.
- dans le train, la fille en face de toi (la vingtaine; en robe de soirée et over maquillée) décroche son téléphone pour dire 'Je suis complètement bourrée, on a commencé à boire à 10h du mat'.....cocktails et Champagne'. Et tout cela avec un fort accent Ecossais.
- le train se retrouve bloqué en gare à cause de "l'attitude d'un passager qui nécessite l'intervention de la police".
- en descendant du train un vent glacial t'accueille, dans une gare sombre, pluvieuse et vide, pas de taxi, prochain bus dans 25min.
