We must have had a heck of a tailwind because Sara said we were an hour early arriving in Edinburgh. Still a 6 hour flight and it's darned near impossible to sleep well sitting up.

Outside the airport it was cool and breezy as we walked to catch the tram to our hotel on Waterloo Place.

We bought tickets (good through Monday) for the hop-on-hop-off buses along with entry tickets to some of the attractions. finally settled on an Italian restaurant with only about a 15 minute wait and a lengthy gluten-free menu in the old town. Then the hotel and bed at last.

Drug stores
Charlie. Check out the drug stores. You can get antibiotics over the counter without a prescription. Hopefully none of you will need them, but just in case, love you
