Had a bit of a sleep in this morning due to late night last night and just general not-wanting-to-get-out-of-bed. We eventually did and headed down to breakfast where we said goodbye to some of the family. We had to check out by 11, so we did that and then Trudi then had a massage with her mum at 11. I went for a walk with Bec and Taylor, but headed back after about 10 minutes because they were going out for 2.5 hours and I didn’t have wifi to tell Trudi where I’d gone.

I made it back at around 12 when they were all finished and we decided to wait for Bec and Taylor to come back, they’d only be another hour and a half, right?

Wrong. They’d taken a wrong turn somewhere and ended up getting back at 3:30! It was okay though, we had a nice lunch from the “Picnic Cafe” and played cards and talked all afternoon so it wasn’t bad.

We eventually travelled back to Edinburgh and made it by 4:30pm, and I promptly fell asleep until 6pm. We then all went out for dinner with Trudi’s mum Rachael’s old school friend and her kids. We went to a really nice Italian restaurant where I ordered a pasta with spiralised vegetables instead of actual pasta (I felt like I should have a lighter meal to balance out the three course meals and all-you-can-eat breakfasts over the weekend).

Trudi and I left after dinner instead of going to a bar with the rest of the party, as we were staying at her aunty’s place tonight and didn’t want to be an inconvenience by getting there too late.

We got there, hung out with the little cousins, had some tea, then went straight to bed.
