Information on the Wedding of Ernest and Melinda

Today starts the countdown to the BIG DAY........10 days and counting!

For those of you who do not know, and for those who need a reminder, Ernest and I are getting married in the ruins of Urquhart Castle, on the shores of Loch Ness, outside Inverness, Scotland.

We leave on Saturday, the 17th, and the wedding will be on Thursday, the 22nd at sunset. We will come home that Saturday, the 24th.

Ernest and I will send you this blog to keep you posted on our preparations and plans. When we get to Scotland, we will add pictures of the gorgeous Highlands, and of the actual ceremony as soon as we have them (I have forbidden Ernest to take his camera to the ceremony but I have hired a photographer so don't worry). We will also be videotaping so I'll experiment with adding some video here.

Well miss being there with you
but I know you and Ernest will find great joy and peace in your life together. Debbie and the girls all send their love and best wishes. Personally, Im looking forward to seeing the squirt married off, the big guy in a kilt, and seeing how haggis is incorporated into the wedding cake. Love, Lamar
