Traveled all the way back from Oban to Tunbridge Wells, about 525 miles from about 11am to 8pm. Felt awful all the way back and the two or three times we briefly stopped I felt like I was going to collapse.
It was good to finally get back to the flat and some home comforts!

Hi Julie, Good to have a record of your trip.Thanks fro posting it. I travelled up on the train from Cambridge Sept-Oct 2007 for 10 nights trip, I didn't camp as was on my own and not really prepared. I'm going back this Oct (couldn't take leave before) for a solo camp/Gatliff hostels trip starting Crianlarich ending Inverness. Can't wait !
