We live in the middle

We moved in here on the 31st August, after 6 days really hard work moving furniture and most of our belongings into Templar Road. Also needed to clean up Trulls Hatch to get our deposit back. I do not want to clean another oven for at least 2 years. Unfortunately Jim had an attack of arthritis just as the action started so lifting boxes was not a good idea for him.

So here we are in a very small but well equipped holiday home complete with stables, dogs and 8 peacocks. The reality is sinking in, we no longer have a home. It gives a great sense of freedom but also of balancing on the edge of a cliff and getting ready to jump. We have a belief that we are wearing parachutes but until we test the idea we won't know for certain.

Jim has 3 weeks left to work and it can't come to soon for him, especially as his knee has been so painful that he has been using a walking stick at work. He might have an ulterior motive as someone said they feel guilty calling him down to production now, so perhaps he is hoping they will leave him alone if he limps along with the stick.

Our travel cases have given up before the off, one has 2 damaged wheels and the other one dodgy one, which means a trip to Eastbourne tomorrow on a luggage hunt. I hope the new ones are tougher!
