Colchester is the oldest town in England and dates back to Roman times. We stayed here last year while attending the Olympics and never had the time to explore this historic village. Hi Pam and Ron,I always enjoy your journeys......but this time it was special for me. My daughter and Grandson live very close to Colchester,in fact I gave a wine seminar there many years ago. Dont forget that the 500 hundreth Anniversary of the Reformation is happening in 2017..maybe you can visit Lutherstadt Wittenberg at that time.....something to look forward to...June
