Tourblog #1 ‘Through Bob’s Eyes’

So there we are; the first Tour Blog of ‘The Impossible Tour’! Besides some broken fuses and an exploding toilet in our campervan; everything is going well so far! We started this crazy adventure last Sunday, after having to solve some technical difficulties with the van. After our rocky start we decided to travel to the beautiful coastline of South England, close to Dover. For those who didn’t had the privilege of travelling to these kind of paradise like places yet: just wait until this annoying pandemic is over and book you travel straight away! Speaking about the pandemic: due to the new quarantine rules in England, as the government announced a 14 days self quarantine for everyone who’s travelling from France, Spain or Holland, we basically had to call off all of our European plans..... We should have travelled towards the promised main land for a gig in Holland (close to my home town) on the 4th of September, but now had to reschedule this to the near future, due this annoying virus. Nothing funny about that of course, although the plan of moving our asses to the continent still remains and will happen in a second tour, hopefully in a post-corona era! Our mission to still proof that things are possible with live music nowadays has turned out well: after doing our ‘production day’ in Deal we drove through the breathtaking coastline of England to Hastings. When arrived in Hastings we played two gigs on one day, from which the first one was particularly special, as it was literally next to the sea, with a spectacular view that I never had before whilst playing a gig. Although, we actually slept next to the sea a couple of days ago and dove into the ocean as a very refreshing morning ‘shower’! At the moment we’re prepping our next steps in this crazy covid-proof quest, so stay tuned to our socials to find out what’s happening next! XB
