The trip through the channel tunnel and our drive home proved uneventful with an arrival at lunchtime.

This journey has opened our eyes to the extensive and varied beautiful countryside, interesting towns and cities and poignant monuments there are to visit in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Alsace region of France. And you don’t have to travel too far to get there. We would recommend the area to anyone.

We drove just over 2,000 miles including the trip to Yorkshire at the beginning.
