After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and drove around the point to the Studland Peninsula, where we parked and walked down a path to Middle Beach. There were a lot of bathing cabins along the path that people own and use.
From the beach, you can see Old Harry Rocks, which are the bits of cliffs that the sea has eroded from the main coastline. We walked further along the beach to where it became Knoll Beach and then back to the car and headed home as it was blowing a gale.
2.5 hours later we made it back to Jean and Ron’s, in time to collect Oscar the cat from the cattery.
