Go guys go Hope you have arrived safely - yes Hampi is great - Elephant Garages, and if I remember right (it was 20 years ago) one of the buildings you can play tunes on the stone pillars bit like a giant glokenspiel. Aiholi is quite good too - and entire village - first freestanding temples many of them forming parts of peoples homes. They had about 10 electric lights and that was it I guess it may be a bit different now.
WOW What an adventure. Brings back so much of when we first went to India in 1986. It was all a bit primative back then but we had an amazing time. Where to next? Will follow your travels and am extremely jealous! Pat
