An interesting first night on the road. We had arranged to stop on the car park at the <span>Sir John Houblon Pub<span><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">in<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> Bishop's Stortford. We were made so welcome and had a brilliant meal at a reasonable price.
Having decided that we didn't like the fixed rear bed and confined space, we made the move onto the middle beds - yes I did break the bed while trying to put it up - woke up with headaches from sleeping on a slope. Good practice in using the chocks to level the van up. Very warm and cosy and breakfast, although in a confined space was a doodle.
Woolly says – I really enjoyed my meal of Sausage and homemade mash a really good option on the children’s menu.
