Taking a break

September 7, Friday – Coventry

Today was my regroup and refit day in preparation for jumping the puddle. I got all my clothes washed and caught up my bookings for the trip to Ireland, and caught up my notebooks.

Con fixed us a bacon sandwich for breakfast and we pretty much just caught up on things till Phil came home. Then we loaded up in the car and went to look at the locks on a nearby canal.

It was really a beautiful day and we had a really good time. After exploring the locks we ate some fish and chips at a nearby restaurant and then checked out a nearby castle.

All in all a fun day.

When I post a blog I try and provide some practical and useful information on the location I visit in the blog for the frugal/budget traveler.
