Enjoying cocktails aptly called 'Fruit Drops.' Very nice.
The day before I went to the Beamish Museum a few of us decided to hit up the local Irish Pub, Paddy Wack's, for some drinks and music. There are over 100 bars and pubs in Sunderland (or at least it seems like such) so I haven't really been at a loss for what to do any given evening, but choosing the right place to hang out is a little difficult considering I'm not familiar with the area at all.

Fortunately, Paddy Wack's was pretty great. Every Wednesday night is local band night, so a cover bar band named Rayne played for about an hour and a half for us, touching on The Killers, Muse, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, etc. It was fun, and definitely the right choice for the evening.

I've been told that that music scene is Sunderland is incredible, but it hasn't been too easy finding where the bands are. We've got lucky the past few nights but stumbling on signs outside of random pubs indicating when live music can be heard, so I've made a mental checklist of which nights and at what pubs. Tonight (Friday) is an indie rock show at the Campus Bar, so

expect a ton of pictures from there as well.

Finally, videos are still being temperamental, but I should have them up in the next week or so.
