Well here we are on the 28th August - we actually DO GO TOMORROW - I promise all of you we will really be going! Been so busy here doing nothing and something.

Yesterday was different and if anybody had been watching Graham & myself when the Red Arrows kept flying over whilst doing a demonstration, they would have thought we were crackers. Falling over dogs, banging into fences, swearing at trees and tripping over each other. Me pretending to do the David Bailey bit with my camera - an amazing camera and I really did get a couple of good shots - but guess what - just after i took one shot I heard the camera voice say "Low Battery" - yes it then went black just as the bests overhead shots came our way! It is now needless to say fully charged again. I have downloaded a couple of the shots, not to show how good I am, but to show how good the camera is. I did attempt to video it but that did not work very well.

Guy came went to Sheffield & back on his bike yesterday, rather him than me, and he manages

to walk straight afterwards. I know I couldn't.

Graham cooked superb meal for us last night. Makes the best gravy in England.

Finishing off getting ready to go today. Would like to speak to Simon today but doubtful as i think he is in Wales now. Will speak again to Miles tomorrow morning. Looking forward to seeing him at Christmas, earlier if possible!

Think the next blog will be from France. I sincerely hope so.

cold, wet tired and thoroughly pissed off!
Hi ya. Lots off news but not much in the positive. Still, are we downhearted, course not. Another viewing today, a third visit for a woman who turned up with a surveyor with clip board and torch. Ha. Not very pleased about that in fact what a cheek. Very wet today infact almost monsoon. Had a nice run with Stan and dogs in Wass woods, all enjoyed it but we were very wet, however we all felt very smug for having done it. Came home and had home made soup and biccies infront of the fire. Caught the end of the bike racing. Spent last weekend at Solfest a world folk music festival on Cumbrian coast. Typically the wind blew and it rained but we still managed to enjoy camping espcially with the new stove. Had some nice grub and cups of tea! Brilliant kites flew all weekend including a dragon, octopus with tenticles and a deep sea diver all about 30ft long. Called in to Liverpool on the way home to see Matt play in an openair festival. Crowds of 30,000 by the riverside. Josh off to Uni next week. Please can you get Miles to call when he gets to the UK, I would like to keep in touch. If I get an offer on the house, we may go over to France again soon to check out some winter accomodation. We may also chill out in the sun somewhere for a week before the stress of the move kicks in. Looking forward to hearing your news, got the map out ready to see where you are. Whatever happens we will see you in the mountains when the snow comes. Lots of love to you all from all of us.X
