Sunday August 25,2013 Ipswich Suffolk

I awoke to sunny and clear blue skies at Poplar Farm House! I ate breakfast with Sally and then showered to get ready for the lunch party. Around 10:00........finished up laundry and then helped in the kitchen to figure out the food. Many of the what was on the menu for today.....Sally had made the day before.

MENU for our Lunch Party:

Appetizer: Fish Dish which was Prawns, Trout, Smoked Salmon and Smoked Mackerel with Mayonnaise.

Main Courses: Carrot Pie and Moussaka (With Meat)

Veggies: Green Beans from PFH Garden, New Potatoes, Green Salad from PFH Garden. (Bread as well)

Pudding/Dessert: Fruit Salad with Yogurt, Meringue Cookies and Chocolate Chip Bars (Jo made them)

Tea and Coffee were served and afterwards Sally showed the garden to our guests which was fun.

The party guests began to arrive around 1:30 pm and no one left until 7:00 pm! I guess everybody was having fun!! Sally and I just chilled for most of the evening and then Victor came back from London. Later...all three of us played more banana-grams and then it was time to go to bed. Goodnight....Folks! 😊 😊
