Well that's it . . . Finished work yesterday for 6 months!! and it actually feels like we are on our way. it is a great feeling been liberated from the cycle of work life for a while so if you get the oppurtunity to do it, do it! and if you dont, make the oppurtunity ;0 I've been very lucky to get a sabbatical from work but if that had not worked out, I would have gone anyway 😊 so now we can concentrate on the journey 100%!
We have spoken about this for 3 years and when we finally decided we were going we wanted to create a route where we could see lots of different things but also do something to help other people along the way, which is why we wanted to volunteer in India. We have worked hard to create our own route so that it is special to us and so that we can show you places you may not have been too. Jess found the perfect phrase to sum this up . .

We are about to embark on an adventure that has taken us 3 years to get to. We will be volunteering in South India for 6 weeks with two charities, SCAD and Salt of The Earth. First we will travel by train from Mumbai stopping off at Goa and Alleppey along the way before we get to Tirunevelli, where we are volunteering. After India we will be traveling around Thailand, Laos and Cambodia before heading back to Bangkok to make our way to Malaysia. We plan to go to the East side of Malaysia and catch the Jungle Railway down to Singapore where we fly out to New Zealand for the last ... full info
