After my little warm up I was looking forward to starting into the real thing.

Over the course of nine days I covered the section from Minehead to Clovelly. I was blessed with fantastic sunny weather. Almost dawn to dusk sunshine although it was chilly at night. It did get a little dull for the last couple of days and it only rained once and that was during the night.

It's a very simple lifestyle. Walk, eat, sleep and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. It's also lovely chatting to people along the way and walking a while with some of them, from a few hundred yards to a few miles. Clovelly seemed a good place to take my leave of the SWCP.

The photos tell the story.
