We're off tomorrow!

Tomorrow, at 9.30pm, me and Shaun will be heading off to Bangkok in Thailand on the beginning of our epic round the world tour (well almost)!

My bags are all packed, and hopefully Shaun's all sorted too (I'm in Spalding and he's in Maidstone and we'll be meeting at the airport). After much deliberating on what to take it's all finally sorted.

Although earlier today we hadn't sorted out our accommodation for when we actually arrive in Bangkok, I now have a confirmed reservation although I'm going to try some other places when we get there that were recommended and I liked the look of more - so who knows where we will be staying!

This going away means that I'm going to miss out on watching my newborn niece Freya grow up for the first 6 months of her life, and I was very upset to leave her and Marie, but I've spent lots of time with her since she was born on the 2nd November which I'm really glad for.

Last weekend we had a fake Christmas Day at my parents house which was lovely, they even put up the christmas decorations and the tree and had massive stockings on our beds!!

Anyway, I'm going to hopefully get a good nights sleep and the next blog I will be writing I'll be 11 hours away!!

Saturday 22nd November 2008, 3.40pm - Arrive in Bangkok!

Tuesday 16th December 2008, 5.05pm - Leave Bangkok

Wednesday 17th December 2008, 6.10am - Arrive in Sydney!

Friday 20th March 2009, 11.40am - Leave Sydney

Friday 20th March 2009, 4.40pm - Arrive in Auckland!

Monday 20th April 2009, 12.55pm - Leave Auckland

Monday 20th April 2009, 4pm - Arrive in Nadi, Fiji!

Monday 4th May 2009, 10pm - Leave Nadi

Monday 4th May 2009, 1.20pm - Arrive LA (yes, we go back in time!)

Monday 11th May 2009, 9.15pm - Leave LA

Tuesday 12th May 2009, 3.30pm - Arrive back at Heathrow... and then who knows what next??!!
