Home of a Navy Admiral. Imagine the lifestyle!
Another fab day! Gorgeous weather again and both Nigel and Lori got out for a longer run along the canal away from town. Sightings of 3 swan families with babies, sheep and lambs (cute), cows and a chicken and her chicks! All along the canal path but conveniently on the other side of the canal! Really enjoyable running path. Then after lunch we all headed out to Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood. It was another spectular home that we toured around. Then on to the museum where the kids had a blast exploring toys from all the generations back to the 1800's. They even went up a chimney and came out another chimney! We stopped at Ye Olde Pie Shoppe in Melton Mowbray to pick up some pies, but alas, at 5pm they'd already been closed for an hour. Oh well, it is pretty close by so we'll go another day. We did pick up some of their pies at the grocery store down the road anyways so it was not a complete loss! Took our evening ride into town hoping for a football re-match but we were alone so just played at the park. Weather was

beautiful all day but it did rain just after we got inside from our ride. It really seems the sun senses when we are outside as it has only rained this trip when we are indoors!
