I woke up Saturday 2 hours before anyone else, so just pottered about packing some last bits, then when everyone else got up we loaded the car and headed out for breakfast/lunch at a local Rubio's (The Mexican place we had in Arizona)

As we had a couple of hours spare we thought as it was close we would head to Venice beach. Big mistake! It was heaving, we couldn't even get near to it, let alone park, and the petrol light came on - Could we find a petrol station - No! Eventually found one - stuck $5 (£2.50!!) in as Hertz had requested the car back with an empty tank!

We drove the short way to the airport, and dropped the car off, checked in and got through security all in about 20 minutes. We then had over 4 hours to go before taking off, with next to nothing to do. Time soon went by though, we boarded took off 45 minutes late but only landed 10 minutes late this end.

Typical British roads, didn't see any accidents in America, as soon as we hit the M25 see 3 in 30 minutes! Anyway home safe and sound. Thats all for this year....!
