So how to start this off? Thats a question that I have quickly found I dont have the answer to. So as this is really just a test I suppose Ill just write anything for now! Me an John are getting ready to leave this Saturday after a few really busy weeks manically rushing around trying to get everything done. Anyway I am nearly there now apart from the small matter of not having actually packed up my bag yet! I think that is goung to end up as a 'Chuck It In And See What Happens' job! I will be updating this blog as often as I can to keep everytone informed and I will also try my best to keep adding lots of photos as well. Apparently this site lets me upload unlimited pics ... read more

We're another week closer to coming home now - but it's been a week. After our joyous visit to London all the boys came down with a vomitting bug. Simply beautiful. So Thursday, Friday and even Saturday were days off school. Off everything actually apart from TV. On Saturday a couple from Tauranga came an looked at Hugo. They too a tripping through Europe and they made an offer which we promptly excepted!! So having Hugo sold was fantastic. It meant that Gareth didn't need to do anything else on Hugo apart from an MOT and our trip could sort of resume again. So on Sunday we took the kids ice skating. I had pictures of tears and bruises but there was none of that. By the end of the two hours mason and Anton were ... read more

wed 3rd 11th 2008 Off to London this morning. Kjeld dropped us off at the train station and told us how to get back to Rainham. We got to victoria station and found jamar waiting for us. The first thing we did was go to starbucks and jamar got us a hot chocolate that had whipped cream in it. It didn't last long. Then Mason and I played drafts on the table. Jamar had brought cheese and crackers just like rachel would. We hopped on the under ground and we to green park - we heard the opening guns firing for the opening parliament. We walked down 2 blocks to a shop called Fortune and Mason and we were looking in the window and an old lady was next to us. She turned around and said, ... read more

I have an apology to make it wasn't Dune de Pylon it was Dune de Pyla. Don't know where that came from. It's alot easier now because we're back with friends so no more internet cafes with the boys discussing loudly who's turn it is on the computer nor anymore strange keyboards. Here's what the boys thought of the last week. 24th November Amboise by Anton We got up to a cold morning and walked to Leonardo da Vinci's Chateau du Clos Luce. He lived the last three years of his life there. King Francis and 1st invited him there. He is said to have finished three famous paintings there - the Mona Lisa, John the Baptist and some other painting with naked people and clams. His sketches for some inventions had been made into small ... read more

18th July Hopped on a little steam train this morning, very excited. 1/3 the size of a normal train. Dad had to duck otherwise he'd hit his head on the roof. Oh and aunty jenny we packed water and the camera. Firstly we hopped in a windowed carriage and then moved onto a open carriage. It was freezing. We saw lots of stones everywhere. The beaches at this end of England are strange. Our stopping point was Dungeness - it has a nuclear power station there. It dominated the landscape. It was a strange place - pebbles, nuclear power station, houses and the north sea. Mum and Dad took us to a pub for lunch. We had plaice and haddock. It was well cooked but the fish is nothing like NZ fish. We ate it but ... read more

17th July We're currently staying at Meera and Kjelds home. Their address is Little York Meadows, Lower Twydall Lane, Gillingham. But they're actually in Lower, Lower twydall according to the taxi driver. We all have our own room and nearly a bathroom each. They have my sky - a pile of DVD's and a massive backyard. Mum unfortunately got us off at the wrong station. We were waiting for Kjeld but he never came. Mum got a taxi for us. The train station at Gillingham was scary. There was weird people everywhere - smoking, tattoos, no tshirts, swearing and yelling at their kids there was even a crazy girl screaming. Funny now we're not there. Went to riverside park yesterday and walked around horrid hill. It is alot like Kaiaua without the fish n chips. Dad ... read more

Gills Vs Cheltenham Town. As promised we have some new pictures from saturdays game, taken on my new sony ericsson k800i. 3.2 megapixel cybershot thingy! That's why there's more than usual cos i was playin with it. The game it self was not only a must win for Gills, but in my eyes, one we should easily win. Far be it us to think we r the big team but lets be honest, there's something drastically wrong if we can't beat this lot. And do you know what, there is. It is called our defense, or lack of it now dirty Sancho is injured!! We Don't hold our line, no one calls for offsides, when that 's the system we triy to play and Mr Johnson continues to try and cuddle all strikers that go near ... read more

Hi Random Fans! Another late one i know. I will have to learn to do less on my weekends. Thanks for all you comments so far, some are stranger than others, But all are welcome. With Mac at Worthing it was the return of the Willis to attend with me the visit of Swansea City, to the home of football that is, the Priestfield Stadium. On the way down i was running through a few things from, the Millwall game with Willis. Telling her that we look a lot more likely to score these days and, watch out for the new keeper, flanders. All things considered a draw will do today as they are a good side and i bet that cheatin get, Leon Knight, will try and dive........................Lets see. Gills Kicked off and looked quite ... read more

I'm startin with apologies. This blog is 2 days late due to the fact that i was tired after the game and thought i'll do it 2moz. Then came home with a migraine and that was the end of that. Anyway, brace yourself. Gillingham vs Millwall. This game used to be high on my list of most anticipated game of the season. But recently they've been a little lacklustre. I think the main reason was no Hess or Saunders to go straight through someone and spark a riot. The crowd's have been a bit poor as well, and many people tend to stay away because it's Millwall and the under 14's might get out of their prams!! Well, surprised was i when i turn up at the ground and find it packed. Millwall looked to have ... read more
