· Canterbury Castle – Norman, never tested in war; used mostly as a prison

· Drive back

· Walk through the fields

· Visit by ferrier

· Vet – Gizzy is in heat!

· Another walk to the fields. Gizzy is a whore.

· Pre-dinner champagne

· Tried to go to pub for dinner but it was full because of a party. And no food.

· So drove to Duke's Head (what did the Duke do to piss off the King?) – had excellent dinner. Party here, too

· Back. More champagne. Watched In the Thick of It.

· Sleep
