The Big Day Has Arrived

Well the training has been done, the bags are packed and we'll be heading off to Penzance on the 1205 from Paddington this afternoon. It's got to be said that I feel some trepidation now but I suppose that's normal. We had a last minute check of equipment and the towel has been jettisoned. Gareth pointed out that it was a) heavy, b) would be used and have to be packed wet, c) would then be even heavier and d) it would smell like a camel’s arse after a couple of days. So - no towel then, I just hope the places we stay have all the usual facilities.

So here we go - updates will follow along the way (they may be from an intensive care ward but still) and thanks for reading!
