bare feet...bare feet...bare feet...

Sean's aren't as nice to look at ;-) so you get mine
It was a mad dash to Ciampino airport the other night !

Really didn't think we'd get it all done yet everything seemed to fall into place as the minutes ticked away. Forcing me to realize how precious every minute, moment of the day is. Thank goodness the computer was already packed or we may not have gotten out the door ontime.

Began the morning waiting for the post office to open at 830 while Sean was already at the office. There was a small group of early risers waiting to enter the PO and take care of business. I had two packages to mail off to England once that was complete. Returned to our home for the two and half years piu o meno to continue all involved in moving house!

Amazing, how much stuff you accumulate over the months and to imagine we only arrived with one suitcase each. So after a weekend trip to unload stuff at 'home' in England early in the month, five boxes and a massive HUGE Box shipped, then another four mailed yesterday through the Italian Post, and lets not forget literally the last minute box we package for our friends

having a cup o tea - like I mentioned before we are quite tired and look it
to get in the post for us... Yes, it is with much affection that we have departed our temporary home of Italia.

Arriving in England was some what uneventful with the exception of excess baggage charged by the airline. While going through passport control I learned that I can enter through the EU check point as long as I'm traveling with my husband. Which is good to know. Since we always get in separate lines due to me being non-EU; US citizen. Might take some of the fun out of it though because no matter how short my line is and how long the queue is for Sean. Somehow he manages to get through customs ages before I do.

Waking up in yesterday. still very tired from the emotional til' we meet agian buon voyage, packing and the rest.

We did exactly that REST - didn't even have the frame of mind to speak with anyone on the phone that's how tired I was - no joke.

Today, we arose before the il Sole to begin our get fit for our trip routine with a jog followed by sit up. Tomorrow will be easier

reading my goin-away book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez 'Living to tell the tale' and wearing my beautiful shawl from Rosalia (downstairs neighbor a Frascati) again very tired
- first day of excercise is the hardest. Helps having a partner to get you out of bed SO early in the morn'n.

Hope all is well with you !

PS: Adam thanks for helping get the bags down the stairs!
