Manchester

We caught the fast train from Munich back to Franfurt today, then a flight to Manchester. The Flight was a bit bumpy, and I was quite glad to get off!

Our first glimps of Manchester was beneath the clouds, a bit rainy and overcast. After speeding through customs, and bearing in mind our flight was early, we got to arrivals and Alison and Peter weren't there!! "Oh no" we thought, but after finding the nearest toilets, they arrived and all was well. Ricky the dog was also there to pick us up, as he likes to plane spot!

We had fish n chips for dinner, and Mick was asked if he wanted 'scraps' - which is the fallen off bits of batter in the oil, which they scoop out and give to people while they are waiting; Mick declined, even he thought that was a bit much!
