The alarm went off at 5:50am. We popped up and dressed; Paul drove me to the BART. It was cool on the platform. When the train arrived, every seat was taken, so I had to stand all the way to Montgomery. It was probably a good thing, given how much sitting I have in front of me the next 14 hours, but I was tired. The whole airport thing, from bag check to boarding, was fine. I worked on the plane trip to Chicago. I was in a rear-facing seat on the flight to London, which I think I prefer to the traditional seats. Had dinner then went to sleep.
