We met David for lunch on Friday before visiting his work place.

We headed into the city centre to walk the Queen's Walk, the south side of the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge.

We found some shade, on another hot day, near the Tate Modern Art Gallery.

On Sunday we went to Westfield Mall to see a movie, but saw more elephants as well.

We all loved the baby elephants.

It would take a long time to walk the whole mall just once. It has a total retail area of 150,000 sq m, equal to 30 football fields. It has 96 escalators.

We saw SHREK IV. It was good. They have incorporated all the favourite characters but made it sufficiently different to not be just more of the same.

We had to obey this written instruction in the mall.

This area is the junction of three inner-city canals. In the background is the city end of the Grand Union Canal, the canal that we cross every time we go to Sainsbury's.
