Lunch In Regent's Park
We met David for lunch on Friday before visiting his work place.

Rugby
Watching the All Blacks play Wales on our Sat morning.

On The Tube.
We headed into the city centre to walk the Queen's Walk, the south side of the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge.

Walking The Millennium Bridge.
D&T experience the Millennium Bridge for the first time, walking half way across and back. The dome of St Paul's Cathedral is in the background.

A Picnic Lunch By The Thames.
We found some shade, on another hot day, near the Tate Modern Art Gallery.

The Golden Hinde 1.
A full-sized replica of Sir Francis Drake's 16th Century galleon.

The Golden Hinde 2.
This replica has itself travelled 140,000 miles, including a round-the-World voyage.

The Navigators.
A large bronze mobile which has several parts moving in order, as well as water jets.

Heading Home.
On The Tube again.

The Master Chef.
David firing up his BBQ to cook dinner. Charcoal is still preferred over gas in the UK.

Look, More Elephants
On Sunday we went to Westfield Mall to see a movie, but saw more elephants as well.

Westfield Mall.
A view from the 2nd floor. Westfield is the largest Mall in Europe, with 265 shops on 3 floors.

Cute Babies.
We all loved the baby elephants.

Mall Walking.
It would take a long time to walk the whole mall just once. It has a total retail area of 150,000 sq m, equal to 30 football fields. It has 96 escalators.

Ready For The 3D Experience.
We saw SHREK IV. It was good. They have incorporated all the favourite characters but made it sufficiently different to not be just more of the same.

Snogging 1.
We had to obey this written instruction in the mall.

Snogging 2.
This is what it was really all about; plain yoghurt with fruit toppings.

Little Venice.
This area is the junction of three inner-city canals. In the background is the city end of the Grand Union Canal, the canal that we cross every time we go to Sainsbury's.
