Yes it is true, we have completed our journey and unfortunately our beloved campervan is for sale.
Actually if anybody is interested check out: http://www.robert.golliker.com/vanforsale/

So after more then thirteen months, thousands of kilometres, twenty countries and around fourteen languages its home time!

Having been back in the UK for a few weeks it has taken a while to adjust back into society as we know it. However not sure if it is good news as Rob now has a job and some other news Wendy has not been too well lately since we have returned. Nope, she certainly has not! She has been suffering from morning sickness...... Thanks Jane & Chris and Steve & Lee - the baby thing is contagious. So from one adventure to the next - parenthood.

Looking back we have accomplished our dream with a delightful year of travelling. Hey someone once said to us before we started, “12 months you will never last that long”. Never last that long? We had such an awesome time we could have done another 12 months without hesitating. We have had an incredible journey and visited some wonderful places however what has embedded deepest in our

Thanks for sharing our journey with us
hearts has been the people we have met. Some were just in passing, some we struck a chord with and others will remain friends forever. Also our faith in mankind has been restored as every time we got ourselves into any difficulty someone appeared out of the blue to help us out.

And tomorrow, well who knows. We will have to go travelling again (albeit kids in tow); it’s in the blood now cannot be denied. But when that will be, we do not know. That’s for our next adventure; our next dream. Where it will lead us who can tell, but wherever it goes, we shall surely have to follow.

Thanks for letting us bore you with our voyage.

Until next time!

Wow guys, your gonna be a mum and dad, SO COOL!!! I´m very happy for you guys and for sure you will be great parents with lots of great stories to tell to the little one about your travels! I´m back now for almost two weeks.... strange! But great to have my own bed again and a fridge full with yummy Dutch cheese :-D I´m looking for a apartment in Amsterdam now, kinda difficult and expensive but hopefully I will have some luck! Bueno amigos, remember, always welcome here and enjoy the baby-thing (not including the morning sickness ;-) Un beso grande, Laura

Hey you two, well done! That's fantastic news, really pleased for you both. You finally came home then. We'll have to see you two. We're also in the process of trying to sell our van, even though after a month back at work we feel like turning it around and starting off again! We have the house for sale as well, so have to stay around at the moment. Would be lovely to catch up with you. Love kate

Congrats on making it safely back home...
Hi, you two!!! Congratulations on the great news! You sure brought back an "unusual" souvenir back from your travels....hahaha.... I really enjoyed receiving your news during your journey and hope you will keep me posted on this new adventure as well. Must say I enjoyed mine so much I repeated it twice...my boys are back from Austria again and will soon start their busy ski season in Portillo, preparing once again for the South American Cup. Keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck! Our best to you also and hope the morning sickness disappears soon... watch it Rob, the sickness can pass on to fathers as well! A big hug from the whole team and especially from me... Francisca (Southern Sky Chile & Café Homero - Pucón)

Congratulations & Best Wishes
Congratulations to you both - what timimg!!!! It's been great reading about your travels, even if I was green with envy that you managed all you have done in the last year. Who knows, maybe by the time I'm 65 I'll have got away from my desk at work again! Anyway, don't be too eager to sell the camper - once the baby/babies start arriving it may be the only holiday you can afford! All the very best, Andy
