(Entry on London, composed during my 4hr layover in LA on the way back to Sacramento, after traveling for 19hrs... I'm just trying to justify the shortness and the bad grammer... Pictures will be posted at a later date)

Imagine waking up in a foreign country and your favorite Starbucks drink and breakfast are waiting on the table for you when you get out of the shower. Spending the day exploring new territory, seeing new sights, and earning new facts. Living the tales History Books proclaim. Eating in Pubs, listening to accents, spending time with the family; my spring break trip to London was incredible. We crammed a lot into the 4 ½ days that I was there. It seems like I was there much longer and I feel that I got a well rounded experience of London. The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster, TATE Museum of Modern Art, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Notting Hill. They days were action packed but I wouldn’t want it any other way. The first half of my stay, I stayed with my parents that their apartment and the second half I stayed with Jeff. My last night there Jeff and I saw a how. We Will Rock You, it was a musical with Queen’s music as the soundtrack. The music was great, the story was something to be desired. Jeff and I had some great brother/ sister bonding time and it was great to be there and see where he lives and goes to school, to put some images to the stories he tells. It was also great being in a country that speaks English and has a Starbucks in any and every direction you turn. The changing of the guard was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The experience I had there definitely made the 26hrs that it took me to get there and back worth it.

Thank you Mom and Pops!

Ode to Canada
Your blog is great - now I know what to do if I have to speed through London. I really enjoyed your ode to Canada; I shared it with a guy in our office who is from the country to our north. I await his comments; I'm sure he'll be touched.

I knew it
I knew you would love London. It is one of my favorite places. Jeff is lucky to be able to be submerged in their culture for a while. We are glad you are back safe and sound. Good luck with your next spike. (I like your Ode to Canada also) Love, Other Mother

Making Memories
Having you with us will allow us to share the memories that were made on this trip over our lifetime. I am all about memory making and it was fun to do that with you and Jeff and Dad and Uncle Bob and Aunt Becky.. God worked out the timing of this trip to make it happen. It was a whirlwind and a lot of fun! Thank you God for this opportunity to share time together! Love you, Mommy
