I'm not a huge fan of London, but we decided to spend half term week there to meet a new baby and to see my sister. We enjoyed walking around and took advantage of the free museums (Science, Natural History and the British Museum). I think the key thing was we didn't overdo it at each museum, just stuck to what we wanted to see and only spent half days there. The kids have been studying the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians and I had been studying Dinosaurs with one of my classes, so we managed to briefly see the exhibits that related to our topics. We also managed to see The Lion King, a wonderful show, we would all highly recommend seeing it. Thanks to those who came up to see us, hopefully one day we'll manage a trip to visit friends a bit further out.
