We got up on Thursday and stopped at a small store to pick up some croissants and some orange juice. We took our laundry to a laundromat and left it with an attendant. Everything is super expensive in Switzerland because the minimum wage is over 20 Swiss Francs per hour. Two loads of laundry cost 33 Swiss Francs. The exchange rate is about 1 to 1. Oh well, we need clean clothes! We took our croissants and sat on a bench near the river and had our breakfast. Next to us were 2 guys drinking beer and smoking, at 9:30 am. We took off and went for a walk past the Marketplatz and on toward one of the city gates. Along the way, we stopped into a Co-op store to get a razor( mine broke) and some cream for Stacy. We stopped at the city gate for a photo op and then headed toward another city gate. We went and picked up our laundry and dropped it off at the hotel, then jumped on a tram for a while to rest our legs. We stopped for lunch and then back on another tram. We then went to the Museum of natural history for a look see. It was pretty nice. There was a class of high school students running around with us. Kids will be kids. After that we stopped for a beer and then back to the hotel for a rest. This morning we got a cab to the airport and flew to London. Our hotel is in downtown London and we are just across the Westminster Bridge from Parliament and Big Ben. Tomorrow we tour Buckingham Palace.

We saw a bunch of houses built between 1270 and the late 1400's. All are still inhabited.
