Nagyon jo volt a mult het: egyik kedves baratom es volt kolleganom, Ili Spanyolorszagbol hazafele itt volt par napot, majd szombaton masik kedves baratommal es volt kolleganommel, Viraggal is talalkoztunk :) Szombaton nagy setat tettunk Greenwich orokke szep parkjaban es az obszervatoriumban, majd atmentunk Canary Wharf-ba, azt a teruletet nagyon erdemes megnezni :) Meg sikerult beernunk a St Paul's Cathedral-ba is, ahol korabban meg nem voltam. Sajnos fenykepezni nem lehetett, igy nem tudom megmutatni, csak nagyjabol elmondani a latottakat. Ez a vilag legnagyobb protestans szekesegyhaza, hosszu, szeles fohajo, oriasi kupola gazdagon diszitve, a barokknak megfeleloen. Szerencsere azert nem annyira tuldiszitett, inkabb izleses. A szines uvegablakok mellett a falak nem annyira diszesek, inkabb odafont, a karzat alatt, a kozponti csarnok tetejen, a kupolaban, es hatul, a korusreszben... read more

Arrived at London Victoria Train Station and caught the tube over to Oxford Circus where I was meeting my friends. We spent the afternoon wandering up and down Regent Street, waiting for them to finish building the stage for the Christmas Light switch on. Then joined the queue that had formed next to the stage, around 3pm. We managed to stand by the barrier which was on the edge of the road with traffic still driving past until about 5pm when they eventually closed the road. The event started with Hollyoaks star John Pickard arriving on stage to introduce The London Community Gospel Choir, who sang a number of songs. John Pickard then came back on stage this time with a special guest.....Pudsey! The choir sang a few more songs, before John came back once more. ... read more

We arrived in London by bus and spent most of the day on a walking tour. We got off the bus at the Embankment and then saw the statue of Boadicea, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and St Margret's church, St. James park, Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Piccadilly Circle, Whitehall, and much more on route. In the afternoon the group got on a Thames river boat and traveled to Greenwich Where we walked up to the Royal observatory and enjoyed the view before leaving for home in Hastings. ... read more
