... read more

After a year on the road/water/tracks and 29 flights (too many you might say), Nat and I are back in Londontown. What's changed other than the Megabowl. Well it appears some people have been eating better than us, Tony Blair has morphed into an air slurping martian-like spitting image puppet called Gordon. What else did we notice: there are many places around the world that don't have pavements; the 159 bus from Streatham carries the most mixed bag of people of anywhere we've been in a year; we don't need even a quarter of the clothes, electrical equipment, wires, toilietries or anything else that we've stored in the loft; pubs are peculiar habitats if you've not seen the real McCoy for a while; nowhere we've been to actually exceeds London in the expense stakes; it appears ... read more

Hey guys, i know i haven't writtin in a while, i just never got much of a chance to get to a computer. So we got on the train to go to Germany for Oktober fest. The train was ok, we got beds to sleep on. It was an overnight train so it went realy quick. Once we got to Munich we booked into the camping ground. It was a really big camping ground and there were hundreds of tents. All the tents were so close together that it was hard to get to your own. It was even worse when you were drunk cause your just tripping over everyones tent cords. The tent ground seemed to be divided, Aussies on one side, and Kiwis on the the other. On the first day we went to this ... read more

My course finished 4.30ish, and I had a couple of hours to kill before meeting up with Matt and Justine, so I headed for the easyInternetcafe on Oxford Street. Thought £2 per hour was rather a lot (although £3.50 for the whole day was then a bargain), but wasn't sure what there was in Streatham so I went with it, and managed to get 3 travelblog text entries partially done... wasn't sure what Facebook was doing - it wasn't letting me do some! Well, I guess that's my first internet cafe over and done with... actually, no, I used one in Spain - get me! Made my way over to the McNinch's with no mishaps, and caught up with Matt before Justine made her way home, when as per usual, we chilled out with the TV ... read more
