I have to confess that I have been a little slack in keeping my blog up to date over the last few days though rest assured good habits are about to return! So where were we? Ok so yes I was planning on visiting Tate Modern with my brother and then in the evening going dancing with my friend Mai in Brick Lane. Its Thursday and Paul and I head off to Tate Modern to see the Futurism Exhibition . Filippo Marinetti launched the Futurism movement when the Futurists Manifesto was published on the front page of Le Figaro in 1909. The manifesto’s focus was on violence and the destruction of museums, libraries, feminism and morality whilst glorifying war. An interesting but probably unsustainable list of goals I would think! After doing laps around the exhibition ... read more

Hello Here is my blog - I will hopefully be filling your screens with delightful anecdotes and photographs of my wild antics and all sorts after I set sail/train tomorrow - this is just the boring bit to see if it all works. My itinerary traces my rail map of Europe's most scenic routes (they're highlighted in green you see) along the South coast of France, North coast of Italy and through Italian and Swiss Alps through to my summer resort of choice in Budapest for two weeks of Hungarian study. I'll return via Munich and the delightful night train to Paris. I'm now packed and have done pretty well in not overloading myself - it will mean extra work in terms of hand washing stuff but that's something I am prepared to endure in the ... read more

Saturday May 2nd 2009 At St. Christopher's, breakfast is included in the nightly rate, so weetbix it is for me!! Plus really terrible juice!! Across the road is Stainsburys. A local supermarket with some really cheap food!! Thankfully bottled water is really cheap if you buy the 2 L bottles!! Everything is so expensive here, at least I really don't feel like eating much at all. VEGEMITE!! Little jars are still pretty expensive but I need my vegemite for vitamin B!! Right mum?! Because I was up so early, I organised to go on a free walking tour. There were three other people from St. Christopher's going on the walking tour. Josh from New Zealand, Vanessa from Quebec and Fabio from Venezula. We were all travelling alone so it made it a little easier. It ... read more

Hetfon volt marcius 9., vagyis most mar 2 eve itt elek.

Last weekend I got the opportunity to tour the Houses of Parliament in London which was pretty amazing. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures. The buildings were so ornate and decorative inside and out, completely unlike any government building in the US. There is also an entire room, called the Queen's Robing Room, devoted entirely to the occasion of the Queen donning her elaborate velvet robe with a 10 foot train before she enters the House of Lords to officially open Parliament. This occasion happens once a year. The English love their traditions and are very superstitious. For example, outside the House of Commons on the left there is a statue of Winston Churchill and on the right, a statue of Lloyd George. Both statues are enameled in black except for their toes which ... read more

Tegnap eleg szoros kuzdelemben nyert Wales Anglia ellen a 6 Nations rugby-bajnoksagban (23-15), bar ... read more

Ekkor ugy 4-5 cm vastag lehetett a horeteg.

So it begins... I finished my last job yesterday and am now officially unemployed, my Gap Year travels have begun. Scary? Yes. Exciting? Yes. Weeeird? Yes! This is the best way I can think of of keeping everyone updated with my travels and keeping in contact so that when you get that phone call from me.. 'im lost in a forest in cambodia.. come and get me!' you'll remember who i am :D So, the grand plan.. Tomorrow we leave for Newcastle, Edinburgh and Dublin, back next Thursday. Saturday 31st I'm off to Madagascar to save the lemurs, in fact I will tell you the blurb from my 'field brief'. 'The new project location is the dry deciduous forest of Tsarakibany, just south of Diego Suarez. This region is the transition zone between two climatic and ... read more

Boldog uj evet Mindenkinek!

Ez mos fantaszti... read more
