CS Scavenger Hunt

Scheißes Wetter!! But some bad things come for good (is that a proverb in english for that?? Cause that was an awful translation from the one in portuguese!!)...

The last days of the week were beautifully sunny and disgustingly hot, so Skye and I were all excited about going to Brighton, one of her friends got a house from another friend there, it was gonna be a long weekend because of Bank Holiday...everything was perfect! Apart from the thing we- sometimes unfortunatelly- can't control: the weather change!

Saturday morning started cloudy and cold =(

Alright, so no Brighton...but who would've known weekend was still gonna be just as busy?! For a second I had completely forgotten a friend of mine from Holland was gonna be in town for the weekend and, as I was riding the bus to Piccadilly on an attempt to finally find a Virgin Megastore that sold german music, she called saying she was around the centre and we ended up arranging to meet outside Virgin.

Since I had no plans anymore, she told me she was going to a CS (Couch Surfing) meeting at Embankment, so I came
There goes half the team
along. But before, a friend of hers that was a total sweetheart took us to a brazilian restaurant...yuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!

We met our team- the Lollypops- for the Scavenger Hunt and off we went to find everything we had to.

It was great fun, but after a couple of hours we reached the "hidden" pub we had to find for the hunt, it started raining, so...yeah, we stayed there having a couple of pints! Then half the team gave up to go to another pub and Gi and I decided to leave to get ready for our night out with one of her friends that was turning 32 (even though she looked 10 years younger!).

We were gonna go to the CS bbq that was near the place she was staying before the night out, but it got so late that we ended up skipping it and just going to a pub between Leicester Sq and Piccadilly that apparently had a tree inside...it was quite cool, nice music, beautiful people...too bad pubs close early. Then we headed to the brazilian pub to meet another friend of hers and it was alright, but I was way too

Didn't get home til 4:30 ("sun" rising) and just blacked out! Recharging the batteries for Sunday's night out...
