My first English Pub
Leslie and I waving the Union Jack! Well finally made it to London after at 16 hour flight and layover. Can't say anything good about the fight other than we arrived safely so I guess that is enough. Upon arriving I had to catch the underround train (The Tube) and then a bus to get to Leslie's house. She lives in an area that was heavily bombed during the war so ost of the places are not as old as many of the other places that we saw. Her apartment i very charming and she has a sall garden which in London that is pretty fantastic. The weather was grey but thankfully the rain stayed away and allowed us a lot of walking tie. Friday Nick arrived from Italy and we just sat around her flat for the evening and just got to chat and give the a chance to get to know each other. The rest of the weekend we spent walking, eating, walking, drinking, and walking soe ore. We had a great time and met soe of her dearest mates here in London. The city is filled with so much history it just blows my mind being from such a young country like the US. Didn't
Charlie Chaplin's Pub
I was informed after taking the picture that that was one of Charlie Chaplin's old haunts! I just thought is was a cool building get to do everything we would have liked because of time but for the most part I really believe we got a nice taste of the south side of the Thames river.

Kimberly....you look like your having a fantastic time..! So glad that you finally made it to Europe..! Its always been my dream to go. So much history. I am so glad that your having fun! Can't wait to see some pics from Italy..!! Deb
