It has been a long time since my last blog, mainly due to a rather annoying holiday ban at work, boo! But fear not travel fans, restrictions have been lifted and come the end of September I will be off to a wild and exotic location for a very exciting adventure.

So in preparation for my next trip I have treated myself to a fancy pants new camera and since summer has finally arrived in Ye Olde London Town, I've been faffing around with said new toy and here are a few sample shots for your perusal, think I may need to keep practicing...

You get to see some amazing sunsets from the Pavilion at the Oval, well it is an Ashes summer, come on England!

Seems everyone had the same idea to watch Murray win Wimbledon, it was a bit busy down by City Hall that Sunday
