Myself and John were blessed with a fairly level ride although we didn't get off to a very good start.! I had mapped the ride to cross the river Severn that had a road at each side but no bridge or ferry in between! This necessitated John and I cycling for 3 miles through lush meadows along side the river. We enjoyed plenty of refreshments stops on route and had a pretty full days cycle with an overnight stop in the travelodge at Tewkesbury !

For those of you who have managed to get to this site without knowing what it is about then this is the story. My name is Jim Morrison and I am planning to do a cycle ride from John o' Groats to Land's End starting on the 13th May May. The main aim is to do the ride for its own sake but it is really great to have the opportunity to try and raise some money for a very wothwhile cause.
