LEAVING DO

Friday night was Rob from work's last day, as h's going to work in London from Monday. He started by having drinks in the Angel Pub after work and some of us joined them when they arrived at the Riverside Inn where we had food and the drinks were flowing. Rob, Kate, Nona, John, Cath, Angela, Sue and I sat outside all evening! Told to drink up and strolled (some of us staggering!) to The Basement. En route found snow ... yes SNOW to throw at each other (near Riverside Ice and Leisure). Surprisingly, the Basement was not very busy (last Friday off the month and most people are paid). Had a few more drinks, bit of a boogie, lots of chat and people watching.Eye lids starting to get heavy and home for two am to sleep.
