We are Emma Holmbro and Ake Dahllof. We live in Stockholm, Sweden. We have travelled more or less regularly since the mid 1990-ies and it seems like the more we travel the more difficult it is to decide where to go next. In Chernobyl town we had to go through a radiation detector to make sure we didn’t carry any radioactive dust on our feet and hands

When we left the Zone of Alienation we had to go through a radiation detector to make sure we were not contaminated with radioactive dust

Thank you for the comment, Harvey. Harvey has made one more comment on this blog entry, but that was in an email sent privately to us. But we liked it so much that we would like others to read it too. Harvey wrote: "In 1987, I flew from Bucharest to Moscow. The flight path passed over Chernobyl and it made me nervous.
