Thun and Lauterbrunnen

We drove into the Bernese Oberland and spent a few hours at the attractive old town of Thun at the head of the lake of the same name.

A beautiful drive along the lake was followed by the climb up to Lauterbrunnen situated in a cliff side valley with many waterfalls and dominated by the Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger mountains all of which have an altitude above or close to 4,000m.
