Day 15 - Bike to another lake and beach!

Today was our last full day here so we made all the rounds to say our goodbyes. We all did the forest trail loop, then we walked down to the lake and walked the paths there to say goodbye. It really is such a lovely spot. We will miss it a lot. Then after lunch we went on our final bike tour guided by Nigel who is getting very familiar with the trails. There are trails literally everywhere here. It is such a pleasure to ride here. Our butts are feeling it now (after biking to Stockholm last night for the game and then again all over today) but tomorrow will be travelling all day so quite sedentary. The bike ride today was really nice. We have noticed that the kids play parks here are so fancy, new and fun looking! Also, there are soccer fields everywhere. Some are just gravel but fenced in with nets. Others are on grass and have no fence. Others are turf and are huge and have about 8-10 nets of varying sizes. Just biking along the trails today, we found almost 2 fields for each km we rode. The trails are all well used too by walkers and bikers. All the play parks are busy and there are almost always kids on the soccer fields, no matter the time of day. The Swedish are a very active people. The big turf fields are Russell's favourites. We found a new one today so we stopped on the way to the beach and the way home. The beach was so nice and we wish we had found it sooner. Russell took a dip in his shorts. Then after biking home, we did a quick tidy and got organized and packed and cleaned up. Tonight will be pizza again since it was so good. Maybe one last time through the forest......
