It was a matter of a few minutes, a blur of red, and Kallhall were already up 3-0...
Not a great start to our first exhibition game as the 2016 Ice Fernz squad, but definitely an eye opener.
In the defensive end, we worked hard to practice what we've been learning--drive them wide, box out in front of the net and close the gap with our sticks to the puck.
In the offensive end, we took our shots when we could, but we were outshot, outpassed and overall outclassed by Kallhall, a Division I women's team from Stockholm.
Better to learn our weaknesses sooner rather than later I suppose.
The best period was the second period--where our D zone coverage staved off their scoring frenzy, but by the end of the game, we were convincingly defeated 9-0.
Basically, Kallhall killed us.

Hello Sophie, I'm doing ok, great to see you are still the free spirit that i know and love. Just ended a 7yr relationship and sold my house in Adams.
