The Summer house. Hello,
We finally got on or way and started our trip on the road. From Jan's brothers Ingvar's house in Blentarp (Hi Ingvar) we drove north to the Island Oland. We met up with Ricki and Micke and there families. Micke rented a summer house and we stopped by for one night. It is great to travel with your own bedroom. You can crash any party.
We arrived in time for dinner (barely) and had a great meal and game of Kubb. It was a great way to spend some time with Jan's friends and drink wine with my new friends. We will miss them but are planning a little party when we get back in October.
The next day we went on our own adventure and toured the rest of the Island and stayed one more night. We drove to the farthest point of the Island and found a great camp spot. We rode our amazing bikes (thanks to Leif and Marieanne) to the light house and watched the sun set from our camp with Blue Betty. I was the perfect first night camping in a place other than our friends yard.
We had our morning

The whole gang. coffee in the Marina and I decided it was my new favorite place to hang out. It is a great place to camp if you are in a pinch. Sweden is great about letting people camp anywhere.
We spent several hours walking around the castle of Borgholm. It was a really great look into history. Hard to believe they were able to build things like that without the machinery and engineering of today.
We left Oland for the Archipelago to the Island were Jocke, Tove and Julie are waiting for us.
