After walking in rain yesterday, this mornings short stroll of about 11km to Arcade was easy going! We have time here to wander the town and explore the waterfront. Arcade is a coastal town but seems very tidal, so when the tide is in, it is quite beautiful, but it goes out to expose mud flats. Lovely gardens with blooming camellias, lots of cats lying in the sun and a huge statue of Christ the Redeemer, reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro.
