After a lazy start to our day we headed to the neighbouring village of Alfaz del Pi. We parked our car and headed off walking through the town. We had our morning coffee at a little cafe, but there was nothing of interest in the town so we left. Returning to Albir, we went to an open air museum built on the site of an old Roman villa. We rented an iPad type device from the caretaker which, when you pointed it at the existing remains it showed a image of what the original villa and associated Roman baths in all their glory. It was quite interesting but the heat of the day 39c sent us home to our pool for the rest of the day.
